Before the Israeli attack, Iran had large stocks of enriched uranium

Shortly before the Israeli attack on its nuclear facilities on June 13, Iran had considerable stocks of uranium enriched to 60 percent, which is close to the level required for nuclear weapons. According to a confidential report by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) obtained by Reuters, stocks of uranium in this form had risen slightly before the attack, amounting to approximately 440.9 kilograms at that time.

According to experts at the Carnegie Endowment, it takes about 10 to 14 days to produce a nuclear weapon with 60 percent enrichment, provided there is enough material available.

The amount of uranium Iran had at its disposal would have been sufficient to produce up to ten nuclear bombs according to IAEA standards, had enrichment continued.
