Trump: US troops to remain in Poland, possibly even in greater numbers

US President Donald Trump met with Polish President Karol Nawrocki on Wednesday, whom he described as a “fantastic leader.”

The meeting took place at the White House and was his first visit since taking office in August. Trump emphasized that American soldiers will remain in Poland and that their numbers can be increased if necessary.

Trump said he wanted to discuss trade and other issues with his Polish counterpart, but did not provide any specific details.

Trump also said he had no new message for Russian President Vladimir Putin, adding that he was now waiting for Putin's decision. According to Trump, Putin knows exactly what position the US is taking, and it is up to him to decide how he will proceed. “Either we will be satisfied or dissatisfied. And if we are dissatisfied, you will see what happens,” Trump said.

During the conversation with journalists, he also commented on the military parade in China, which he described as impressive. However, he added that the US deserved to be mentioned in the speech, as it had helped China considerably in the past.
