Ukraine and the United States are preparing a joint venture to produce weapons, which is intended to strengthen Kiev's domestic defense capabilities.

Ambassador Olha Stefanišynová announced on Wednesday that a Ukrainian delegation will travel to Washington on September 30 to discuss the legal details of the project.

The agreement was reached following President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's meeting with Donald Trump in New York on Tuesday. According to Stefanišynová, Trump expressed his admiration for Ukraine's innovative strength and gave his political support for the drone manufacturing project. At the same time, he assured Kyiv of his continued support in the fight against Russia.
