Danish military reports drones at several military facilities

The Danish armed forces registered drones at several military locations on Friday night and Saturday morning. A military spokesperson stated that various defense capabilities had been activated. The exact locations were not disclosed.

The police confirmed drone sightings near the Karup Air Base in western Denmark, according to the Ritzau news agency.

Denmark had previously classified the series of airspace violations as hybrid attacks. Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen described them as the “most serious attack on critical infrastructure in the country's history.”

A total of six airports were affected, including Copenhagen Airport, which had to suspend operations for several hours on Monday.
