Peskov: Deliveries of Tomahawks to Ukraine are being monitored, but do not change the situation on the front lines

The Kremlin said on Monday that Russian military specialists were monitoring possible deliveries of American Tomahawk long-range missiles to Ukraine, but that these would not change the situation on the battlefield.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said it was important to understand whether the United States or Ukraine would provide target coordinates for the use of these missiles.

According to Vice President J.D. Vance on Sunday, the US government is considering Kiev's request for the delivery of Tomahawk missiles with a range of about 2,500 kilometers. This is a weapon that would significantly expand Ukraine's striking power.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is said to have called on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly for the US to sell the missiles to European countries, which could then pass them on to Ukraine. According to Vance, the final decision will be made by US President Donald Trump.
“We are definitely looking at several requests from Europe,” the vice president added.

Trump has rejected Ukrainian requests for long-range missiles in the past.
