Mass protests against Trump are expected in the US, with millions of people expected to attend

Today, more than 2,600 protests are taking place across all 50 states in the US under the slogan “No Kings,” in response to President Donald Trump's immigration, security, and education policies.

The organizers warn that the country is heading toward autocracy. The aim of the protests is to unite opponents of Trump's conservative agenda. They are supported, for example, by Senator Bernie Sanders, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and former unsuccessful Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

The president commented only briefly on the protests, denying that he considers himself a “king.” Republicans, on the other hand, described the action as “anti-American.”

Some claim that such gatherings could incite violence, especially after the murder of activist Charlie Kirk. Over three million people are expected to attend, which could make this demonstration the largest protest rally in modern American history.
