Robbery at the Louvre in Paris: The perpetrators stole eight valuable items

The police also checked the security of the famous Regent Diamond, which is located in the same gallery where the thieves struck. However, the perpetrators did not manage to steal this gemstone. According to the auction house Sotheby's, the estimated value of the Regent Diamond is more than 51 million euros.

Investigators have so far only released basic information about the theft. They have not disclosed the identity of the perpetrators or the nature and value of the stolen items.
