Kallas: Russia's war escalates – EU stands firmly with Poland

EU Foreign Affairs Representative Kaja Kallas stated that Russia's war is not coming to an end, but rather escalating. In her view, the European Union must increase the costs Moscow pays for its aggression, strengthen support for Ukraine, and invest more in its own defense.

Kallas emphasized that the EU plays a crucial role and will support initiatives such as the Eastern Border Shield defense line. She added that available evidence suggests that the violation of Polish airspace by Russian drones was intentional and not accidental.

“The European Union stands in full solidarity with Poland,” Kallas said.
