Principles

No public funds.

Statement stands for absolute independence. We do not accept any public money: not a cent from governments or ministries—whether domestic or foreign—no grants from parliaments, parties or party-affiliated organisations; no funds from authorities, offices, state agencies or state-owned enterprises such as energy or water utilities. Nor do we accept funding from non-governmental organisations (NGOs), semi-state institutions or foundations whose financing is based on public money.

Our reporting is fact-based, truthful and free from political, institutional or economic influence. Neither parties nor governments, lobby groups nor authorities determine what we cover or how we report. Our only obligation is to our readers. From this responsibility arise content and analysis that provide orientation, place events in context, and remain committed to accuracy and truth.
