Russia firmly rejects accusations regarding drones over Poland

The Russian Ministry of Defense has confirmed a large-scale drone attack on military targets in western Ukraine.

Moscow emphasized that all intended targets had been hit, but that the attack was not directed against Poland.

In response to reports that some drones may have violated Polish airspace, the ministry stated that their range was less than 700 kilometers.

At the same time, Russia offered Poland consultations to clarify the situation.

The statements come at a time of heightened sensitivity to any violations of NATO countries' airspace that could trigger diplomatic tensions.

Although Moscow denies deliberately crossing the border, the open offer to talk with Warsaw suggests an attempt to defuse tensions and prevent escalation.
