Cardinal Müller: Germany could become a Muslim country
In an interview with Catholic journalist Diane Montagna, the former Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, Cardinal Gerhard Müller, warned of a gradual Islamization of Germany and all of Europe, reports the portal Life Site News.
In his opinion, left-wing politicians and activists are using Islam as a tool to weaken Christian identity and traditions, which could lead to Christians becoming “second-class citizens” in the future.
Müller explained that Germany is facing rising crime, problems in schools, and rapid demographic change—his hometown of Mainz had a Catholic population of 70 percent 50 years ago, but today it is only 27 percent.
He claims that the Muslim population is growing rapidly and could become the dominant ethnic group within 20 to 30 years.
At the same time, he warned that mass migration without integration could lead to social upheaval and even the threat of civil war.
