British police arrest man suspected of carrying out cyberattack on airports

British police have arrested a man in connection with a cyberattack on Collins Aerospace that caused major system failures at airports across Europe last week.

According to the National Crime Agency (NCA), the man is in his 40s and was charged on Tuesday with violating the Computer Misuse Act. However, he was subsequently released on bail with conditions.

The attack on Collins Aerospace's systems caused significant disruption to passenger check-in and flight delays at several European airports.
