Ukraine plans new talks in the US, including on arms deliveries

Representatives of the Ukrainian government are planning a visit to the United States at the end of September or in October to negotiate economic issues and arms deliveries.

This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelensky after his return from New York, where he attended the United Nations General Assembly and met with US President Donald Trump.

Zelensky said he shared his views on possible responses to Russian threats with Trump and warned that Kyiv would respond if Moscow caused a large-scale power outage in Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian long-range drones struck a Russian oil facility in Chuvashia, causing a fire and operational disruption.

According to the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU), this is part of the pressure on the Russian energy sector, whose revenues, according to Kyiv, directly finance the war against Ukraine.
