Vance: The US is accepting requests for Tomahawk missiles for Ukraine, Trump decides

According to Vice President JD Vance, the US government is considering Kiev's request for Tomahawk missiles with a range of about 2,500 kilometers. This weapon would significantly expand Ukraine's striking power.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is said to have asked on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly that the US sell the missiles to European countries, which would then forward them to Ukraine. According to Vance, the final decision will be made by US President Donald Trump.
“We are certainly looking at several requests from Europeans,” the vice president added.

Trump has rejected Ukraine's demands for long-range missiles in the past, but is frustrated by Russian President Vladimir Putin's refusal to reach a peace agreement.

Vance also noted that Russia's invasion of Ukraine has recently stalled, with little territorial gains made.
“Since we started working in this administration, we have actively sought peace, but the Russians need to wake up and accept reality. Many people are dying. They don't have much to show for it,” he concluded.
