Europe must expect attacks from Russia, said Polish Minister Sikorski

Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski warned that Europe must be prepared for the possibility of Russian attacks deep into its territory.

He described it as irresponsible for states not to build up defense capabilities such as a “drone wall” on the eastern border.

In the British Parliament, he also presented the Iranian Shahid-136 drone that was shot down over Ukraine and called on allies to continue supporting Kyiv.

He also hopes that the US will provide Ukraine with Tomahawk missiles that could be used to attack Russian infrastructure. Sikorski also pointed to the increasing number of airspace violations – from Russian drones over Poland to fighter jets over Estonia.

He noted that Ukraine is planning at least three more years of war and that Europe should also prepare for this.
