US to vet hundreds of thousands of refugees admitted under Biden

US President Donald Trump's administration has ordered extensive vetting of all refugees who entered the country under former President Joe Biden's administration. This is stipulated in a US government memorandum seen by Reuters.

According to the document, signed by the director of the US Citizenship and Immigration Services, Joe Edlow, the order would apply to about 200 thousand refugees who entered the country between January 20, 2021 and February 20, 2025.

The aforementioned office has not yet provided an opinion.
