Starmer: Britain to supply Ukraine with missiles and support Russian asset freeze

The UK will supply Ukraine with more anti-aircraft missiles. This was announced by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer during a virtual meeting with the leaders of France and Germany.

The deliveries are due to arrive in the coming weeks and are part of a broader support for Kiev, which has also indicated a willingness to negotiate a framework peace agreement with Moscow. However, he said key issues must be resolved by Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky and US President Donald Trump personally.

At the same time, Starmer declared that London is ready to act together with the EU on the issue of using frozen Russian assets to support Ukraine. According to him, this is the best way to send a clear signal to Moscow that its strategy of "waiting" will not work.

He also said that the European Union is making progress on the issue and decisions are expected soon.
