A large-scale overnight Russian attack on Ukraine has two casualties and injured dozens of people

A large-scale Russian overnight attack on Ukraine has killed two and wounded two dozen people, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha said on Saturday. He added that Moscow continues to kill and "destroy" while the world discusses peace plans for the conflict.

"Russia has fired dozens of cruise missiles and ballistic missiles and launched more than 500 drones at ordinary houses, the power grid and critical infrastructure," Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha wrote on X.

Explosions could be heard in the capital Kiev throughout the night.
