Israel welcomes Maduro's ouster

Israel welcomed the removal of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, Israel's foreign minister said after Maduro was captured by US forces.

"Israel welcomes the removal of a dictator who led a network of drugs and terror and hopes for the return of democracy to the country and for friendly relations between states," Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar said.
