Ukrainian Security Service launches new operations

The acting head of the Ukrainian Security Service (SSU), Yevhen Khmar, informed President Volodymyr Zelenskyy about the results of recent special operations, as well as new actions that have just been approved.

Although the details remain confidential for now, according to the president, all the objectives set have been achieved. The SSU continues to fight sabotage, collaboration with the enemy, and to block any Russian activity on Ukrainian territory.

At the same time, it is trying to clean up its own armed forces: on January 10, Kyrylo Budanov, head of the presidential office, convened a strategic meeting with military and security leaders.

They also discussed corruption in conscription, social support, and cases of desertion.
