The Clintons refused to testify in the Epstein case

Bill and Hillary Clinton have refused to testify in the Jeffrey Epstein investigation being conducted by the House of Representatives under the leadership of Republican James Comer. In a statement, they described the entire investigation as a purely partisan matter and declared the subpoenas to be legally invalid.

However, Comer is threatening to charge the couple with contempt of court, which could lead to criminal prosecution. He pointed out that Epstein visited the White House 17 times during his term in office and that Clinton traveled on Epstein's plane 27 times.

The former president and his wife claim that the investigation is only intended to embarrass the political rivals of US President Donald Trump.

They add that there is no evidence of their involvement in trafficking women and that the committee is ignoring key issues related to Epstein's death and failures during the Trump administration.
