Iran is open to compromise on nuclear deal
Iran is prepared to consider compromises in order to reach a nuclear agreement with the US if Washington is willing to discuss lifting sanctions, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht-Ravanchi said in an interview with the BBC on Sunday.
He also confirmed that the second round of nuclear talks will take place on Tuesday in Geneva, after Tehran and Washington resumed discussions in Oman earlier this month.
"(The initial talks) were more or less positive, but it is still too early to assess," Takht-Ravanchi said.
Iran's head of the nuclear program said earlier this week that the country could agree to dilute its most enriched uranium in exchange for the lifting of all financial sanctions. Takht-Ravanchi used this example in an interview with the BBC to emphasize Iran's flexibility.
