Epstein's estate to pay victims $35 million

The estate of the late financier Jeffrey Epstein has agreed to a $35 million settlement in a lawsuit alleging he aided in the sexual abuse and trafficking of minors.

The lawsuit was filed against his former personal lawyer Darren Indyk and accountant Richard Kahn, now co-administrators of the estate.

Although both men "did nothing wrong" and admitted no guilt, according to their defense attorneys, they agreed to a settlement that will bring a final conclusion to the claims against the estate.

Epstein's estate had previously paid out $121 million through a restitution fund and another $49 million in separate agreements.

Epstein himself died in 2019 in a New York prison.
