Netanyahu calls on the world: join the US and Israel against Iran

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has called on world leaders to take an active role in a joint US-Israeli military operation against Iran. He says Tehran poses a threat not only to Israel and the US but also to global security, including Europe, Outlook India reports.

He cited the blocking of the Strait of Hormuz and the development of long-range ballistic missiles as arguments. Operation Rising Lion, launched in late February, targets Iran's nuclear and military capabilities.

Netanyahu stressed close cooperation with Donald Trump and rejected claims that Israel was pushing the US into the conflict.

He said several world leaders already understand the need to curb Iran's nuclear program, but now is the time for concrete support. At the same time, Israel says Iran is weakened and its capabilities are severely limited.
