Fourth suspect held after Pardubice attack
The investigation into the arson attack on a Czech optics and drone factory is gathering pace. Police have arrested a fourth suspect, who has been remanded in custody. He is a Czech citizen, but the authorities have not disclosed further details.
The attack in Pardubice caused millions of dollars in damage and was claimed by a pro-Palestinian group, which said the target was linked to the company’s alleged ties to Israel. The company disputes the claim.
The case also has an international dimension, with an Egyptian, a Czech and an American among those detained in Slovakia. Several of the accused, however, deny any wrongdoing. Police have also indicated that the investigation is ongoing and may lead to further arrests.(reuters)
