In today’s world, the mass media seek to shape public discourse according to predetermined ideological norms. A disturbing phenomenon is emerging.
In a number of widely reported attacks and acts of violence, the perpetrator belongs to the transgender community or has close personal ties to it. The fact is systematically glossed over, minimized or ignored in mainstream media.
Instead of serious analysis, a narrative prevails that protects ideology at the expense of truth and public safety. Ignoring this trend is not compassion but dangerous blindness, especially toward the vulnerable, children and families.
Family Under Pressure
One of the most tragic examples of recent years is the case of 16-year-old Julia Grace Egler from Florida. In July 2024, the teenager, who identified as transgender and used male pronouns under the name Jasper, shot and killed her mother, Kelley McCollom, and her boyfriend, Matthew Szejnrok.
According to court records and police video, the primary motive was a long-standing conflict related to so-called misgendering. The mother refused to accept her daughter’s transition and continued to refer to her as a girl. Egler admitted she reached a “boiling point” after repeated arguments.
She waited for the victims with a revolver and a knife, greeted them with the words “Welcome home” and then shot them. The case is not isolated. It shows how gender identity ideology is destroying family relationships.
Egler’s mother paid with her life for refusing to lie to her child. Yet truth should be liberating, not suppressed for fear of being accused of “transphobia”.

A Growing Pattern of Violence
The incident fits into a broader trend. In 2023, Audrey Elizabeth Hale shot and killed six people, including three nine-year-olds, at Covenant Christian School in Nashville.
Hale, a former student at the school, prepared detailed maps and planned the attack. The journals reveal deep hatred, frustration with her own identity and resentment of her Christian surroundings. Police were slow to state the gender identity of the perpetrator, reinforcing suspicions of a media cover-up.
In 2025, Robin Westman attacked Annunciation Christian Church in Minneapolis, killing two children during mass. In February 2026 in Canada, Jesse Van Rootselaar murdered her mother, her stepbrother and then six people at a school in Tumbler Ridge, injuring dozens more. Other cases include Mia Bailey, who killed her parents in June 2024.
Although the overall number of mass shootings committed by transgender people remains relatively low, according to various databases, the phenomenon raises serious questions about disproportionality.
Growing Identification With LGBT
The cases must be seen in the broader context of the explosive growth of people identifying as LGBT. According to surveys, 9.3% of American adults claim an LGBT identity. Among people under 30, the figure rises to 23%. One in 30 US teens identifies as transgender.
This is driven by social pressure, social networks and school programs that promote gender fluidity as the norm.
The increase is not the discovery of a hidden truth but part of a cultural revolution that rejects the creational order. It goes further by denying biological reality and forcing society to lie along with it.
When parents, schools and doctors promote the transition of children, it is often an experiment on the souls of young people who are already struggling with anxiety, depression or trauma, as the US Department of Health and Human Services has confirmed.
Child psychiatrist Anna Kovacova has warned Statement of an alarming rise in serious mental health problems among children, from suicidal tendencies to self-harm.

The Dangerous Effects of Hormone Therapy
A common factor in many of these cases is artificial supplementation of sex hormones – testosterone in biological women or estrogen in biological men. Studies show that cross-sex hormones can significantly affect mood, emotions and aggression.
Biological women taking testosterone are often more prone to anger, aggressive emotions and acting out. These changes are not trivial. They can amplify existing psychological problems that are common in transgender people, including depression, anxiety and suicidal ideation.
However, the body is not plasticine that can be reshaped at will. Hormonal intervention brings not only physical risks but also mental instability. When society promotes chemical sex reassignment as a “cure”, it risks amplifying internal chaos instead of helping it.
Many studies, as well as psychologists, confirm that there is no long-term improvement in mental health after transition. On the contrary, the risk of suicide remains high.
The Truth in Love
Silence is not an option when ideology destroys families and takes lives. True love is not a silent nod to lies but the courage to speak the truth, even when it hurts. Julia Egler’s mother wanted to protect her daughter from self-deception and paid for it with her life.
In Nashville, Minneapolis and Canada, young children have fallen victim simply because society celebrates confusion instead of God’s order.
It is time to wake up. Children must be protected from experiments that steal their souls. Parents who tell the truth deserve support. Silence in this regard amounts to complicity. The truth must be spoken in love, because the world desperately needs it.
For those who struggle with gender dysphoria, the soul must be healed, not illusions confirmed.
