US Forces Destroy Six Iranian Boats in Hormuz

The US military has destroyed six Iranian boats and intercepted missiles and drones during an operation to protect shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.

According to US Central Command commander Brad Cooper, Iran has been attempting to disrupt the operation, but all threats have been eliminated.

The US has deployed a large force in the region, including thousands of troops, ships, aircraft and advanced defense systems. Rather than a traditional naval patrol, the operation employs a broader defensive strategy to protect the area.

A US blockade of Iran remains in place, restricting the movement of vessels entering the country.
