Alcaraz to Miss Wimbledon After Extending Injury Break

World No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz will miss Wimbledon and the entire grass-court season as he continues recovering from a wrist injury.

The Spaniard announced the decision on social media, saying that despite progress in his recovery, he is not yet ready to return to competition. The injury had already forced him to skip the French Open.

Alcaraz will also miss the Queen’s Club tournament, traditionally seen as a key warm-up event for Wimbledon. His absence is a major setback for organizers and fans, given his status as one of the ATP Tour’s biggest stars.

The decision could also affect the battle for the world No. 1 ranking and reshape the list of favorites for this year’s Wimbledon.
