UEFA Bans Czech Coach for Life Over Secret Filming
UEFA has handed Czech coach Petr Vlachovsky a lifetime ban from all football-related activities following an investigation into allegations that he secretly filmed female players in the dressing rooms of FC Slovacko.
Czech media reported that the coach received a suspended prison sentence in May 2025 and was banned from coaching in the Czech Republic for five years. Among the victims were underage players, with the youngest aged 17. According to prosecutors, Vlachovsky confessed and expressed remorse.
UEFA has also asked the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) to extend the ban worldwide and urged the Czech Football Association to revoke his coaching licence.
FC Slovacko said it terminated its cooperation with the coach immediately after learning of the allegations and cooperated fully with investigators. Players’ union FIFPRO described the ruling as a strong signal that such conduct has no place in football.
