Iran Rebuilds Drone Production Faster Than Expected, CNN Reports

Iran has resumed parts of its drone production during the six-week ceasefire that began in early April, CNN reported, citing four sources familiar with US intelligence assessments.

According to the report, US intelligence agencies have concluded that Iran’s military industry is recovering significantly faster than Washington had initially expected. Reuters said it could not immediately verify the report independently.

The report came a day after US President Donald Trump said the United States was prepared to resume strikes on Iran if Tehran failed to agree to a peace deal. He also indicated that Washington could wait a few more days for “the right answers”.
