Zelensky to Attend NATO Summit in Ankara, Rutte Confirms
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has confirmed that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has received an invitation to the Alliance summit in Ankara and will attend in person.
Rutte also praised Ukraine's resistance to the Russian invasion, saying there are reports that Kyiv is retaking territory in some areas and that the situation is at least stabilizing. "I would not be too happy if I was Putin today, particularly not the last couple of weeks, because things are not going in the right direction", he said.
Rutte added that Zelensky would attend the Ankara summit as he had the previous meeting in The Hague.
