Pentagon Opens More UFO Archives

The Pentagon has released another batch of declassified documents on unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs), previously referred to mainly as “UFOs”. The newly released material includes dozens of videos, audio recordings and testimonies from soldiers and intelligence officials describing sightings of unusual objects over the United States.

The disclosure follows President Donald Trump’s decision to expand the declassification of documents related to extraterrestrial life.

Particular attention has focused on testimony from a US intelligence officer in 2025 who, while flying in a helicopter, reportedly saw several orange orbs resembling fireballs moving in different directions before forming a triangular pattern.

The Pentagon also released footage linked to the alleged 2023 shoot-down of an unidentified object over Lake Huron, along with historical material from the Apollo programme.

US authorities stressed, however, that the released documents do not constitute proof of extraterrestrial life or alien technology. Critics argue the issue could also serve as a distraction from domestic political problems.
