Drone Sighting Halts Flights at Munich Airport

Flights at Munich Airport were suspended for about an hour on Saturday morning after two pilots reported spotting a drone near the airport, authorities and police said.

More than 20 aircraft bound for Munich were diverted to other airports during the disruption. The sightings were reported shortly after 9 a.m. by pilots in two separate aircraft flying over the airport area.
