Trump to Meet Zelensky and Middle East Leaders at G7 Summit
Donald Trump will meet with leaders from the Middle East during next week's G7 summit in France and participate in a working session with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, senior US administration officials said.
Trump will meet separately with the leaders of Egypt, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, France and India. A bilateral meeting with Zelensky has not been scheduled, but the two leaders may meet on the sidelines of the summit, the officials said.
Trump is expected to raise issues of common importance at the summit, including economic growth and development, supply chain resilience, illegal migration and artificial intelligence. He is also reported to be working on strengthening the supply chain resilience of critical minerals needed for advanced technologies.
Trump plans to attend a dinner at the Palace of Versailles on Wednesday before returning to Washington, according to officials.
