Hamilton Wins First Race with Ferrari to Rewrite Formula 1 History

Lewis Hamilton claimed one of the most emotional victories of his career in Barcelona, winning his first race since switching to Ferrari and ending a run of five consecutive triumphs for championship leader Kimi Antonelli.

The win was Hamilton's first since the 2024 Belgian Grand Prix and the 106th of his career. At 41, he also became the oldest Formula One race winner since Jack Brabham in 1970.

George Russell finished second in a Mercedes, with McLaren's Lando Norris third. Antonelli, who had led the world championship standings, retired with five laps to go due to a technical problem, significantly reducing his lead and leaving the title fight wide open.
