Iran Rejects Trump's Claim of Planned Talks in Doha

US Special Envoys Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff are in Doha, Qatar, but no meeting between the US and Iranian delegations is scheduled for Tuesday, according to Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

US President Donald Trump had previously claimed that Iran had requested talks following last week's exchange of attacks.

However, Iran's Foreign Ministry denied that a meeting with US representatives had been scheduled. It said Tehran would instead send a delegation of experts to Doha to discuss the unfreezing of Iranian assets.

Meanwhile, according to available reports, Israeli forces killed at least eight Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and carried out another strike in southern Lebanon despite the ceasefire agreement with Beirut.
