Denmark Pledges $690m for Ukrainian Weapons and Artillery
Denmark has announced a new military aid package for Ukraine worth 4.4bn Danish kroner (about $690m). It is Copenhagen's 30th military aid package since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
Around 1.3 billion kroner has been allocated through the so-called Danish model, which allows Ukraine to purchase military equipment directly from its domestic defence industry.
According to the Danish government, the approach supports Ukraine's defence manufacturing sector while accelerating deliveries to the front line. Part of the package will also fund the procurement of ammunition for long-range artillery systems.
Denmark remains one of Ukraine's strongest supporters and has continued to provide military assistance throughout more than three years of war.
