Netanyahu Says He and Trump Share Iran Goals

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that despite occasional disagreements with US President Donald Trump, the two share the same approach to key issues concerning Iran.

In an interview with CNN, Netanyahu said it is still too early to assess the impact of the temporary peace agreement between the United States and Iran.

According to Netanyahu, Trump believes he will succeed in halting Iran’s nuclear program. The Israeli prime minister, however, acknowledged that he has doubts

“On the big things we see eye to eye, and occasionally we don't, but we're true allies”, Netanyahu said of his relationship with the US president.
