Polish Poll Points to Right-Wing Majority

The latest voting intention poll in Poland suggests Prime Minister Donald Tusk's governing coalition would lose its parliamentary majority if elections were held now. The survey, conducted by United Surveys for IBRiS, puts Tusk's Civic Coalition in first place with 28.6% support, down 1.1 percentage points. The opposition Law and Justice (PiS) party also slipped by 1.1 points to 23%.

Support for Sławomir Mentzen's Confederation continued to rise, reaching 15.7%. The Euroskeptic Confederation of the Polish Crown (KKP), led by MEP Grzegorz Braun, would win 10.2%. Together, the two right-wing parties would command 25.9% of the vote.

The New Left would receive 7.5%, while the Polish People's Party (PSL) stands at 5.2%.

According to the seat projection, the current governing coalition of the Civic Coalition, the New Left and PSL would secure 201 seats – 30 short of a parliamentary majority. PiS, Confederation and the KKP would win a combined 259 seats, enough to form a government.
