US Strikes in Iran Kill Seven, Injure More Than 260

The latest US strikes on Iran killed seven members of the Iranian armed forces and injured more than 260 people, according to Iran's Health Ministry. Among the targets were military barracks.

The strikes came in response to Iranian attacks on US bases in the Middle East. Fighting resumed after a brief ceasefire in early July, when Washington launched new military strikes following Iranian attacks on commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.
