Trump to Attend World Cup Final

US President Donald Trump will attend Sunday's World Cup final between Argentina and Spain at the New York-New Jersey stadium, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said on Thursday.

Leavitt said Trump's attendance would cap what she described as the most-watched, safest and most successful World Cup in US history.

She declined to say which team Trump would support, telling reporters to ask the president directly.

Trump will also attend a FIFA reception at Trump Tower in New York on Friday.
