Russia's Largest Missile Attack Yet Hits Ukraine
Russia launched the largest number of ballistic missiles in a single attack on Ukraine since the start of the war overnight into Sunday, Ukrainian acting foreign minister said.
"Russia unleashed the largest number of ballistic missiles since the start of the war — around four dozen — in a brutal terrorist attack on the Ukrainian capital, killing and injuring people", Andriy Sybiha wrote on the social media platform X.
Shortly before that, the Ukrainian Air Force said that of the 41 missiles Russia fired overnight, only 18 were shot down. During the attack, which was aimed primarily at the capital, 23 missiles and 10 drones struck up to 20 locations in Kyiv.
According to local authorities, at least one person was killed and 13 others were injured.
