Facebook and Instagram Users Report Outages

Meta's social media platforms Instagram and Facebook experienced widespread outages on Sunday. Users reported issues with both the app and the website.

According to Downdetector, 4,808 reports were logged on Sunday morning from Facebook users in the United States, with 63% of them experiencing problems accessing the website. Another 2,829 reports were filed by American Instagram users who were having problems with the app.

Reuters also reported that access to Facebook and Instagram was intermittent in Singapore. Meta did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
