Russian Strike on Kharkiv Postal Depot Kills Four

Russia launched one of the most massive ballistic missile attacks since the start of the invasion, leaving at least five people dead and 35 injured in Kyiv and Kharkiv. Ukrainian air defenses shot down 18 of 41 missiles, including Iskander missiles and hypersonic Zircon missiles, along with 108 drones, according to the BBC. Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha said earlier on Sunday that the largest number of Russian missiles since the start of the war had been launched at Ukraine overnight.

In Kharkiv, an attack on a postal terminal killed four men, while in Kyiv and the surrounding district of Bucha, missiles damaged residential buildings, a dormitory, a supermarket and logistics centers. President Volodymyr Zelensky specified that in the last week alone, Russia had used approximately 1,450 attack drones, more than 1,640 guided bombs and 99 missiles against the country.

Ukraine responded to the aggression with extensive retaliatory strikes on Russian energy infrastructure, successfully hitting several oil storage facilities in the Stavropol region. In the Black Sea, Ukrainian forces struck three Russian oil tankers belonging to the so-called "shadow fleet".

The Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) confirmed damage to two tankers in the port of Novorossiysk, which led to a complete suspension of oil loading. There were no oil spills or injuries.
