Israeli Strikes Hit Two Gaza Medicine Warehouses

Two Palestinians were killed on Saturday in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip, and two medicine warehouses near Al-Aqsa Hospital in the city of Deir al-Balah were also destroyed. According to the Palestinian ministry of health, other warehouses and a hospital ambulance were also damaged.

The attacks come at a time when it remains unclear whether Israel has accepted an agreement with Hamas regarding its disarmament. The Israeli military said members of the militant group were the targets but did not provide further details. Witnesses said the military issued a warning to evacuate the area before the attack.

According to the hospital, the warehouses contained medical supplies for patients with kidney failure, gauze for treating wounds and other materials.

US President Donald Trump announced a breakthrough in his plan to end the war on Thursday, saying Hamas had agreed to lay down its arms. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has not publicly commented on the agreement, while National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir called it unacceptable and urged the continuation of operations against the militant leadership.
