Ex-Officials Discuss Ukraine Peace Terms

Former senior officials from the United Kingdom, France, Germany and Russia met in Vienna last month to explore possible terms for negotiations to end the war in Ukraine, according to people familiar with the meeting.

Participants included former British National Security Adviser Tim Barrow, former German State Secretary Markus Ederer and veteran French diplomat Pierre Vimont.

The sources did not identify the former Kremlin official who attended, citing the confidential nature of the talks.
