Ukraine Launches Massive Drone Attack on Moscow Region

Ukrainian drones struck the Moscow region early Sunday morning in one of the largest attacks on the region to date. Regional Governor Andrei Vorobyov confirmed that an 83-year-old man was killed in Podolsk and several others were injured.

The drones also hit logistics facilities, including a Wildberries warehouse in Koledino, belonging to Russia's largest online retailer, as well as facilities in the town of Domodedovo, near the capital's main airport.

Russia's Ministry of Defense said it had shot down a total of 822 unmanned aerial vehicles across the country.

Ukraine has been deliberately targeting Wildberries' infrastructure in recent weeks. Kyiv accuses the company of handling and transporting military goods, as part of an effort to disrupt the economic and logistical base supporting Russia's military campaign.
