US Envoys to Visit Kyiv and Moscow for Talks

US negotiators seeking to broker a possible solution to the war between Russia and Ukraine are expected to visit Kyiv and Moscow in the coming days, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Thursday.

According to Zelensky, preliminary dates have already been set. He described the planned meetings with representatives of US President Donald Trump in both capitals as “very important” but provided no further details.

Meanwhile, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius is due to meet US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth in Washington on 15 September, according to German news outlet Welt.

The two ministers are likely to discuss the alleged Russian drone attack on Leipzig/Halle Airport as well as the Pentagon’s review of the US military presence in Europe.
