Climate Extremism Suspected in German Sabotage
German Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt said on Friday that climate extremism was likely behind sabotage attacks in Germany this week.
Speaking alongside Dobrindt, North Rhine-Westphalia Interior Minister Herbert Reul said authorities were searching for a man who had allegedly written a letter claiming responsibility for the attacks.
During the press conference, German newspaper Bild reported that investigators had found evidence of plans for new attacks on the electricity grid in Saxony.
