Ukrainian Drone Chief: Kyiv Safe, but Baltics Are Not

Russia will never again attempt a quick-victory scenario along the lines of “Kyiv in three days”, according to Ukrainian drone commander Robert Brovdi, known by his callsign “Madyar”. However, he said a “Baltic states in three days” scenario cannot be ruled out.

In an interview with the Swedish broadcaster SVT, Brovdi explained that NATO countries are not yet prepared for modern warfare fought with drones and other technologies, while Russia continues to increase production in this sector.

Brovdi, who has significantly changed the way war is waged and, through drone strikes, has extended the conflict into Russian territory, warned against underestimating the enemy.

Similar warnings have previously been issued by Ukrainian and European officials. Some experts, however, note that given its capabilities and the course of the fighting in Ukraine, Moscow has no reason to open another front by entering into direct conflict with NATO members.
